Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope you don’t mind too much that I delayed this week’s post until today, but I wanted to focus on Thanksgiving so I thought it best to hold this post until this morning.
Thanksgiving is that time of year when many of us take a moment to remember what we’re thankful for, eat far too much food, watch a full day of parades and football, and then embark on spending time and money to gather the greatest deals we can find. This is just how it is, and I have no problem with that. But the key thing to focus on is what we are thankful for.
A day like today is for everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your opinions about the Thanksgiving holiday are; what matters is that you take some time to reflect about what or who in your life has given you something to be thankful for.
We here at Fellows Creek Golf Club are thankful for many things this year including our families, our staff, our golfers, our banquet guests, the Township of Canton, Billy Casper Golf, our friends, and new opportunities in the future. Personally, I’m thankful for my wife and daughters, my experience in this position, and my opportunity to help others have a better day.
Thank you all for reading this. We wish you a very happy Thanksgiving, and we look forward to seeing each of you again very soon.
