It’s cold outside, and today there’s even a dusting of snow on the ground. But there’s no time like today to come out and play a round of golf. Throw on your mittens, grab some hand warmers, throw your clubs back into your trunk, and head on out here. Fellows Creek Golf Club will be open for play every day this winter—with the exception of Christmas Day.
We’ve only done a few rounds since the weather has gotten colder, but we are ready for you to grab your buddies and come on out. As long as you come out prepared (warm clothing, water, hot cocoa, colored golf balls) you can have a great time playing Fellows Creek this winter. The ball won’t fly as far as it does during the summer, but that just gives you more time to enjoy our Audubon Certified golf course.
And if you’re interested in something a bit more structured, then contact me about joining our winter golf league. The league will be on Wednesdays at Noon and last for 8 weeks. We’ll make sure that you get in your 8 rounds, and the top player at the end will earn a nifty prize. This league will cost $100 per player to cover the golf (walking only), an end of season meal, the championship prize, and an entry prize for all.
Also, we’re putting together the Frozen Fellows Open for late January. The details are still being worked out on this one, but as soon as we nail everything down I will pass the info on.
If you are interested in playing winter golf either on your own, in a league, or in an outing, then please call us at Fellows Creek Golf Club to sign up.
