Tomorrow, August 3rd, over 100 courses nationwide will come together to host the 2015 installment of the World's Largest Golf Outing to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Last year just shy of $900,000 was raised for this great cause, so the hope is that we can eclipse that number this year.
Fellows Creek Golf Club will be one of the courses hosting this event, and we are proud to be part of something that helps wounded veteran's of our armed services. Registered players for the event and course visitors in the month of July have combined to raise over $3,500 as of today, and we hope to raise even more tomorrow during the event.
The Wounded Warrior Project provides programs and services to assist wounded veterans when they return home, and attempts to raise awareness among the public.
